Story Walk Your Rhino

The Very Key

The very key to releasing your full potential and succeeding anyway is how to interact with your gut feelings.

Hello, I’m Dawn Smith. We’re together, let’s do this!

First, check out my logo with the rhino gently being walked by the little girl. I’ll come back for gaining great value in reflecting on this image as we go along.

In the meantime, there’s the story of a starving dog chewing on a dried, useless bone. Even offered a handful of food, he only growls menacingly and goes back to feverishly chewing on the useless bone. Have you ever been like that, stuck in the middle of what isn’t serving you and refusing help?

Tricky Being Human

I like to say, “It’s tricky, being human.” When I say it, people laugh with me too because some things we do as humans are just wacky, yet we keep doing them.

Tony Robbins, the personal development coach, was famous for doing a little skit during his stage presentations. He’d point out some ridiculous behavior, for example, overeating and still expecting to lose weight. He’d be talking about some such counterproductive behavior like that from the front of the stage and then he’d race over to one of the far back corners of the stage. He’d dub that far corner as his common-sense corner.

While in that corner and asking the audience to apply their common sense right along with him to the discussion being considered, the ridiculous became obvious.

Then he’d pop back to continue talking from the front of the stage, but now with the audience more alert to catching their own unproductive lines of thought.

How many times a day do we repeat nonsensical behaviors and ruin our chances of gaining anything better?

In reality, we’re pushing around the same data, using the same behaviors, and ignoring the obvious – things aren’t working.

Maybe there’s another way, a particular ‘tweak,’ when applied proves a better way to have guaranteed success.

Quick Exercise

Before going further, let’s practice a process together.

Pause for a moment and think of a time you were struggling but then learned something easily and effortlessly. Try also to think of a time you saw something and were so awe-struck that your eyes widened and your jaw dropped. Go on now and imagine a time you weren’t expecting it but someone very dear came into your view, and feel that same big smile that raced to your face upon that first glance of them. For one more experiment, think of a time you wanted to do something, had no energy, but then suddenly felt inspired and raced off to go do it.

What was the difference in these examples from their before and after? What made that shift you experienced in each example?

The answer is somewhere in the in-between, the wordless part of the process.

There was a spot in your thoughts where they scrambled with each of my suggestions. It was just before you settled on each instance in your mind. However fleeting before any idea, there really wasn’t anything to say. Instead, there was a barely perceptible pause. In that pause, it’s as if a blank gets drawn and your brain’s incapable of thought.

In actuality, the answer was there but was at first wordless. It was silent.

This silence effect applies to larger concepts too, like love and kindness. They’re also wordless before attaching words or taking some sort of action to express them. Silence occurs before anything, even the quickest of our thoughts.

The Sweet Spot of Silence

This sweet spot of silence can make all the difference to finding more positive shifts to doing anything. It can eliminate repetitious actions that aren’t working too.

Magically, this silence doesn’t contain shoulds, the oughts, or any forced directives. Only positive possibilities reside within them there for the ready and for use for moving ahead. All our next answers are prepped and ready to go just on the other side of silence.

When life’s being “tricky,” humans rarely pause though, to get to the other side of the silence. The other side of the silence is one of the greatest doorways to everything imaginable.

Harmony in Silence

When you’re in harmony in this silent and pleasurable way, is when you stop chewing on the dried, useless bones of life. It’s a chance to make an ultimate ‘tweak’ and crush struggle. it’s a guaranteed success path at whatever you long for and desperately want.

it’s not only where to release your full potential, but where and how you walk your Rhino in peace.  What is walking your Rhino in peace?

Peace is actually the opposite of struggle. It is in peace that you will find all your perfect answers. We are then option-rich.

Being ourselves makes us option-rich, since everything about us is so specialized and spot on. The more connected to our own signals emanating from within us, the better our results become. These personalized, customized signals or feelings literally guarantee our success. They are indicators for us to take as our exact way to our best future.

Wonderful Story

Returning to my Rhino and little girl logo, I’ll tell you my wonderful story attached to it for how it illustrates walking your Rhino in peace.

Sadly, after being orphaned by its mother killed by poachers, a baby rhino, left alone will not survive even if placed in a rescue care facility. Come to find out, in these care facilities where a baby rhino was assigned a surrogate human to replace its mother, the problem became when the human had to leave for various reasons if only to sleep at night. Many baby rhinos were lost this way, dying overnight of abandonment.

Sweet Baby Rhino

The solution was to bring in a goat to live alongside the baby rhino and serve as a constant companion.

Just as your feelings of concern are beginning to swell for these orphaned rhinos having lost their dearest connection to their mom, reflect instead on the countless times we disconnect from our own dearest connection, which is the connection to ourselves.

Gut Feeling Ignored

It’s that gut feeling we ignore. It’s that side glance given by someone walking by indicating they need help in some way that we ignore. It’s a soundless urge to avoid certain people that are toxic and cause us to feel weary, that we ignore. It’s that voice without words in our head offering to turn left or right to avoid traffic that we ignore.

Silently Screaming Feelings

Worse, it can be whatever is indicating we need to stop that has us ill, incapacitated, or near-death that we ignore. In such extremely debilitating cases, that’s our instincts screaming at the top of their lungs (silently, of course) to try to get our attention.

Keeping with the rhino analogy, facing wild, strong urges from inside ourselves would be like facing a grown rhino coming on at a full attack. No, we don’t want a face-off with a raging rhino or with our extremely heightened feelings!

Lost Connection

If we don’t listen to our pain, the pain only grows stronger and louder as if seeming to attack us any minute.

In my logo notice the rhino so large but walking pleasantly on a relaxed leash gently led by the little girl. See the contrast in size between the large rhino as compared to the small girl. The rhino could easily stomp or run away.

All the same, the Rhino and the little girl happily walk together in peaceful harmony.

Connection to Feelings

My logo is an example of walking in peace with our Rhino, which is our instincts, internal urgings, and feelings. By connecting fully and being in harmony on a moment-to-moment basis in listening and following our feelings, we cease all the struggle and accelerate getting whatever it is we want.

As I pointed out, the opposite of struggle happens to be peace. We are not used to that idea much, but we actually crush struggle with peace. It’s true.

How can we have peace, which sounds passive, be capable of crushing any sort of anything?

My personal transformation and evolution revolve around this Rhino Story. As a result, I teach how instincts and natural intuitive knowing help us walk through life in harmony led by peace. Our heartfelt feelings, often under-utilized are always eager to reconnect with us at any time. They blessedly are also always absent of struggle.

Peace vs Struggle

Peace is to know oneself, walk forward, and successfully live a life without limits. In a roundabout way, I simply teach peace. Crazy sounding but anything that has struggle in it, I’ve come to discover is abuse. That point will become more clear as we go along in our journey together.

I’m pleased also to put the word Rhino with a capital first letter to personalize and merit it as being a perfect metaphor for our dear feelings and our best pathway to what we want in life.

Longest Journey Across the Shortest Distance

Head to Heart
Head to Heart

Head to Heart

In reality, what I’m talking about is what others describe as the longest journey across the shortest distance of about eighteen inches from your head to your heart.

The mind along with our thought is often considered to be located in our head region and it’s a deletion tool. It’s the ego and our little-self designed to delete anything that threatens our survival. It’s a finely tuned alarm system.

For instance, the mind pays no attention to daily habits such as brushing teeth or dressing. It’s already figured those things aren’t life-threatening. It, therefore, takes its attention off that to go back scanning for any other new threats.

Happily Out of Your Mind

That’s why it’s such a compliment when someone might accuse you of being ‘out of your mind.’ If you’re lucky enough to be ‘out of your mind,’ therefore out of your head, there’s plenty chance you’ve dropped down into your heart where your true feelings reside.

It’s in our heart where our grand, universal Big-Self resides. This Big-Self is Pure Love and knows connection to everyone and everything as one living organism.

In our heart and in our feelings is where we have a fresh understanding and connection to everything at any moment. Those fresh feelings are also felt in our gut providing the answers for clear next actions to take.

In our heads, we’re only mostly repeating behaviors with little chance for freedom or growth.

One Tweak Away

My style of coaching has a particular ‘tweak’ that helps accelerate that journey from your head to your heart and for finding true answers. I can show you how to walk your Rhino in peace and achieving success.

You’ll feel authentic, validated, and unbound from where you were stuck; released to move on to the freedom, time, money, relationships, and anything else you desire.
